Brian H. Clark
Brian H. Clark is the owner and the head of the BHC Law firm. He is an experienced attorney in serious DUI/DWI, criminal and traffic cases. He is known for unrivaled customer service and a tireless work ethic that is often unseen in the legal field.
A distinguished law graduate with Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Brian’s success in law dates back to his law school days. He assisted the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s office in prosecuting numerous criminal cases as a student under the Rule 16 program (which permits qualified law students to prosecute real cases under supervision). He won his first criminal trial as a student and also had his first jury trial soon after graduation. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in criminology and a minor in psychology from the University of Maryland. He grew up in Ocean City during his formative years and graduated high school in 1987 from Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin, Maryland. He spent his high school and college years working at his family’s restaurant and boardwalk businesses in Ocean City. He developed an intimate knowledge of the town of Ocean City and how to treat each person as a treasured customer.
Brian has represented countless criminal and DUI cases successfully and works closely with his clients to review and produce the best results possible. Whether it’s working toward a favorable plea or bench trial representation, he always ensures the clients are fully satisfied with the handling of any criminal or DUI cases and their outcomes. His online reviews confirm this and his level of service is rarely seen in the legal field.
Brian has participated in numerous seminars sponsored by MCDAA, MICPEL and the University of Baltimore involving criminal procedure, trial strategies, and DUI defense and evidence. He is a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, Maryland State Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the America Bar Association. Other memberships include National College of DUI Defense and National Trial Lawyers Associations.
He is among a small group of Maryland criminal attorneys who have completed the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) and International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) three-day course. The training is required of police officers in the field of DWI detection and sobriety testing and, as an attorney, Brian’s ability to defend DUI cases is greatly enhanced.
